How to Clean Out Your Candle Jar
Share
Before you can reuse your candle jar, you’ll need to remove the leftover wax. Here’s a quick and easy method:
- Freeze the jar: Place your candle jar in the freezer for a few hours. The cold temperature will cause the wax to shrink and harden, making it easier to pop out.
- Scoop out the wax: Once frozen, use a butter knife or spoon to gently lift out the wax.
- Clean the jar: Wash the jar with warm, soapy water to remove any remaining wax residue. For stubborn spots, you can use a little rubbing alcohol or white vinegar to clean the jar thoroughly.
